To vaccinate citizens eligible for the booster date or precautionary date, there are 148 vaccination centres throughout the Nation. Of all the vaccination centres, 119 are for Covishield, while 29 are for Covaxin.
An eligible individual for the booster dose does not need to register again. They can log in to their old account and then apply for it directly. How To Register For Booster Dose Of Vaccine?
You will need to follow the steps below to apply for the booster vaccine. Once you are done, you can book a Precaution Dose at the vaccination centre.
- Register for the Booster Dose of Vaccine by visiting the official Portal at Cowin, i.e. @cowin.gov.in.
- After visiting the Portal, you’ll find the “Register/Sign In” option. Click on this option.
- After tapping the option mentioned above, you can be redirected to another website where you will need to fill out your old mobile number, enter the mobile number, and tap the option to GET OTP.
- After tapping the option mentioned above, you will be redirected to another webpage. You will also receive a six-digit OTP. On the redirected page, you will see a text field. Fill in the OTP and then tap on the option to Verify & Continue.
- After tapping the option above, you can redirect to the Cowin portal dashboard. Here you’ll find the option of “Precaution Dose“. Click on this and book your booster dose.
- After booking the booster dose, you will receive the date, time and address of the vaccination centre where you need to go on the due date.
